We started our e-commerce adventure in September 2009 after Louise, our founder and self confessed handbag lover, was tired of not being able to find a good quality designer inspired handbag on the High Street or online. 

A light bulb went on somewhere in Louise's head and with the help of Michael, Alex and Bernie, the concept of the Handbag Fairy was born. 

The original idea was to build a website that offered the best quality designer inspired handbags at the most reasonable prices. As the fun began searching for our fabulous stock we realised there were loads of smaller and relatively unknown brands that we just had to show off! We only ever order in small amounts of everything so that our customers can be sure they are getting something a little special.

Well, then we started to see our own little brand begin to grow! We began to get requests from fellow handbag lovers to see our treasured finds in the comfort of their own homes. We went to our first handbag party with a beaten up Toyota Corolla circa 1998 and a box full of bags! We still have our trusty Toyota, but now we have a mini fleet of fellow handbag lovers out and about selling our lovely handbags. 

Now we want to continue building and expanding the Handbag Fairy brand.

So here is our vision, it's simple really:-
